Windows XP Service Pack 2

I finally held my nose and installed Windows XP Service Pack 2, because an increasing number of programs require it before they'll install.

I have hopefully rid this site of the "500 Server Error" pages that you see on occasion.
There is a side effect: you cannot upload imsages for the time being. But since nobody used that feature besides Brian, I'm inclined not to care.

I'm watching a Wynton Marsalis performance.... I can't help thinking the same thing that I've thought for ages: The guy can play like no one on this planet. Incredible talent. But man, as a listener I find his music incredibly boring. Gimme Miles. any day.

Bootiful Boston

Just flew into Boston today on bidness. Made some friends already. Hanging west of the city in Sudbury, which borders Marlboro.
This area is simply beutiful.
I was expecting expansionist suburbs with six-lane highways and strip malls galore. But that's not what I'm finding.
It's like a non-stop Cedarburg. Narron, winding, two-lane country roads, houses and stores right "up front." Very nice.
I wish I had some daylight hours to explore the area.
I'm also amazed at how many historical places are within minutes of here.
I'll have to come back here on my own bill some

This seems so typical of the Republican party: Take anybody who speaks against your position, and smear him.
Now they're going after British MP George Galloway.

(I will admit, I wonder if the allegations aren't true. Even so, it wouldn't be an issue if Galloway hadn't gone to a GOP US Senate and soundly criticized Republican foreign policy.)
